Raffle and Silent Auction

A raffle and silent auction will be held at the lecture on Sunday. Prizes include a cruise for 2 in the Galapagos Islands, Delta Airlines Vouchers, a Full Season Pass at Squaw Valley, Free Ski Days at Mt. Rose, and many more treasures.  Andrea will also have videos available for purchase. All proceeds go to support READ Global,  a non-profit organization that supports rural education and development in Nepal, Bhutan and India.

About Dr. Andrea Marshall

From the BBC’s award-winning documentary on her life “Andrea: Queen of the Mantas” to National Geographic’s “Pristine Seas” expedition to Mozambique, Andrea Marshall uses hard science and visually stunning media to capture the world’s attention and focus it towards conservation.

The first person in the world to complete a PhD on manta rays, Andrea co-founded the  Marine Megafauna Foundation.
